We had the great pleasure working with this lovely couple. Andrea was such a delight to work with, she has a very bubbly personality

Her wedding flowers reflected her personality perfectly!

Andrea wanted colour & she wanted to incorporate peacock feathers….that was all the instruction she gave us

She did not have any specific blooms in mind. She left that up to us

She was thrilled with her flowers!

We used white & green hydrangeas, purple anemone, tulips, ranunculus, spider mums & peacock feathers

Wrist corsages we made for both the mother of the bride & groom We used a burgundy coloured ranunculus, gypsophilia & of course added in a peacock feather

Found these adorable mini peacocks & we couldn’t resist adding them to the ceremony arrangements

What a great looking wedding party!

Tracy Nolan~ Owner/ Lead Coordinator & Senior Floral Designer

*WPIC Certified Wedding Planner *CIFD Certified Floral Designer *Gay Certified by 14 Stories Gay Wedding Institute

We started 2013 in lovely Muskoka where we had the pleasure working with a great couple, providing wedding flowers & décor for their Winter Wedding!

We then flew to Montreal to work with a Corporate client, helping design a Winter Wonderland Gala for over 400 people. It was my very first time flying Porter & I loved it!

Next was the WPIC Kick Off Event! In 2013, I was the WPIC Regional Representative for Durham Region. Myself & fellow Reg. Reps from Muskoka, Halton/Peel, Kitchener/Waterloo, Niagara & Ottawa all collaborated together & planned an amazing event for our fellow WPIC alumni

To see the event, click here A great blog post by WPIC!

Durham Region has a new WPIC Regional Representative, as we change it up every 6-12 months. It just so happens to be a wonderful friend & colleague of mine who is the Wedding coordinator at Mill Run Golf Club, Amy Stevenson

During Wedding Season, we were very busy! Creating beautiful wedding bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces & ceremony flowers for several couples. We also provided Wedding Day Management for a few of them as well

I can’t express enough the “priceless” feeling I get when I hand a bride her bouquet & she gushes!

I truly love flowers & floral design and being able to combine my passion & a business is a blessing that I never thought possible….until now

Working with couples on their Special Day & taking over the stress & management of the day so they can relax & enjoy every single, precious moment is so rewarding. Watching them smile, eat, drink, dance without a worry, is why I do what I do

I provide my clients with that peace of mind & trust that comes through in my passion

Thank you to all of our past clients who took the time to share their kind words & experience working with us! Because of that, we were just notified that FCL Weddings & Floral Designs has been awarded the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards for 2014!!!

To read our reviews from our past clients, simply scan the QR code with your smart phone or you can view them on our “Meet the Owner” page on our website

In July, we decided to open an office in the downtown Oshawa area. We share that space with 2 other great wedding vendors,

In-Style Weddings & Décor and Your Captured Moments Photography

It’s a great opportunity & convenience for couples planning their weddings, as it is a one-stop-shop! You can book a wedding planner, florist, photographer, photo booth, wedding décor, & candy buffet all under 1 roof

Clients are not obligated to book with all the vendors & we never push them to do so, but we have discovered that several clients love the idea of booking our services & having meetings on the same day, in the same location!

We are located at 70 Albert St. Oshawa~ By Appointment Only

We had an amazing year & we are looking forward to the 2014 Wedding Season! We learned a lot from all the weddings & clients we worked with in 2013. We will continue to give all our clients the BEST service we can as we continue to better ourselves & learn from past mistakes

We will continue to network with other wedding professionals, attend conferences and seminars to provide our clients with the confidence they made the right choice hiring FCL Weddings!

See you in 2014

Happy Planning!

I had the pleasure of attending an Open House at one of Toronto’s most unique venues. Located at 50 Pottery Rd. Just seconds from the DVP, Fantasy Farm is a little piece of country in the big city!

Surrounded by mature trees, gardens and wildlife, all friendly I’m sure. Fantasy Farm makes you feel like you are miles away from the hustle & bustle.

What makes this venue unique, is its retro feel & decor. In fact, I had to laugh when I saw the bridal suite, the furniture brought back memories. The lamp they had, was the exact same lamp my parents had, back in the mid to late 70′s…..yes 1970! Now you know my age…lol!

I met one of the owners, Jimmy Georgoulis, he told me that they pride themselves in offering clients the best food! He claims they will pull out all the stops to ensure all their clients & their clients guests are very happy. They like to use local & seasonal farm fresh ingredients to ensure the best quaility.

Fantasy Farm caters to not only weddings but to Corporate Events, Birthday Parties, Baptisms, Engagement Showers, etc.

I do suggest going to see what Fantasy Farm has to offer. If “unique” is what your looking for, then I think you found the right place!

Here is a sneak peek….enjoy!

We had the pleasure of working with this beautiful couple on their Special Day. Ally & David decided on an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding & FCL was called to help with designing a “tea party” in the woods for this lovely couple, who wanted to have a fun photo shoot prior to saying “I do”

Working with the talented Robyn White from Brooklin Photography, we had fun with the bridal party & they loved what was created for them…

cupcakes provided by The Cake Booth

This little bee hung around our flowers all day! I guess he wanted to be a part of the photo shoot as well….

Dave checking the time, making sure we are on time! Can’t be late for the ceremony…

Ally & Dave were so much fun to work with. It was a great pleasure to be a part of their Special Day! We wish them a lifetime of happiness….
