We were contacted by the owners of this amazing venue & we were invited to come out & tour the property

The rustic beauty of this venue with it’s mature trees & ponds complete with bow & covered bridges is the perfect setting & backdrop for all you nature lovers!

Here are a few pics of the property (which is still under construction)

Currently a garage but will soon be converted into an indoor ceremony site complete with windows all around so you don’t miss out on the stunning nature in the event of rain

One of the ceremony sites. A covered bridge complete with rustic bench seating & carvings (that can be removed)

I see this space with lots of beautiful floral arrangements!

Handmade (by the owners, of course) signing table & benches

We are planning on doing a Styled Winter Photo shoot at this location in January 2015

Can’t wait to share those photos with you…..stay tuned!

We had the pleasure of working with this gorgeous and super nice couple on their Special Day! It was August 6, 2011 and it was one of the hottest days of the summer. So hot, my hair was sweating & my clothes were stuck to me like glue. Despite the soaring temps, the bride & groom were calm & cool as cucumbers!

The ceremony was held at a lovely little park in Oshawa- Children’s Arena. Not only a pretty spot for an outdoor ceremony, but a favorite photo shoot location for many Durham couples

The groom waiting to see his bride for the first time. You can see her behind him, as she makes her way down the winding aisle. It was quite the long walk….& wait for Bobby…lol!

Finally! Now…..the ”I Do’s”

What a stunning backdrop, filled with beautiful flowers & water falls

We lined the aisle with tall vases filled with river rock & white dendrobium orchids. It was a surprize for the B&G, as they did not expect to see that. I had some left over flowers & will always find a use for them. They also made their way back to the reception-Ajax Convention Centre, where they dressed up the bar & cocktail lounge

We made the couple a birchwood archway for the ceremony. The park had several restrictions on what kind of ceremony decor we could have. NOTHING could penetrate the ground! So we used urns for the base of the archway. I filled them with flowers such as: callas, orchids, wax flower, ruscus, ming fern, curly willow & peacock feathers

A great way to incorporate children & step children in the wedding….a Sand Ceremony! Such a sweet idea & a great keep sake for the family

I love this group shot!

Taking a moment out of my very busy schedule to pose with the happy couple! It was my pleasure!!

We really enjoyed working with this couple & their families! We wish them all the best & a lifetime of happiness & love!
